Can students pursuing their masters or PhD be eligible for intern opportunities? 

Yes! Skyryse hires students for our internship program who are pursuing their Bachelors, Masters, or PhD.

Are international students eligible to apply for intern opportunities? 

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Is there a minimum GPA to apply for the internship program?

There is no minimum GPA to be eligible for our internship program, however most interns have had a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

What are the eligibility requirements for the intern program?

The Skyryse Internship Program is optimized specifically for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be a current undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term. Valid work authorization is also required for employment.

Which universities does Skyryse recruit from?

Skyryse is looking for talent from premier universities and colleges nationwide! We're looking for candidates with a track record of stellar academic achievements and impactful contributions. Many of our technical interns and graduate engineers have previously been involved in student-driven engineering initiatives, focused on designing, building, testing, and/or coding.

Do you hire high school students?

Unfortunately, high school students are not eligible for our internship opportunities. However, we do encourage you to follow along our journey through your academic career and consider us for future internships and employment!

What does the internship program interview process like?

Our interview process for interns includes a series of technical interviews. You will start out by meeting with our Recruiting team, followed by a technical interview with the Hiring Manager. Should you pass the interview, we will invite you onsite to our office to meet more of the team. You will give a technical presentation to the team on a topic of your choosing, followed by a number of technical interviews with specific team members. Your recruiter will talk you through all of the specifics of what to expect. 

How should I prepare for my interview?

Once you talk to your Recruiter, you will have a solid understanding of the process and what to expect. Do research on the company, why are you interested in us? Depending on the team you are interviewing with, you may want to highlight various projects / related experiences that match with the job / team you are interviewing with.
