EL SEGUNDO, CA — Skyryse®, the creator of SkyOS, the world's first universal operating system for flight, today announced that Lieutenant General Ross Coffman (Ret.) has joined the company as a strategic advisor. A highly decorated leader with decades of military experience, Lt. Gen. Coffman will provide critical insights into how Skyryse’s technology can support military operations and enhance the safety and effectiveness of warfighters.

“We are honored to welcome Lt. Gen. Ross Coffman as an advisor,” said Dr. Mark Groden, CEO of Skyryse. “His expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our relationship with the Pentagon”

Lt. Gen. Coffman, who most recently served as the Deputy Commanding General of Army Futures Command, brings a deep understanding of the evolving needs of military aviation and operational readiness. His experience in leading modernization efforts and integrating emerging technologies like AI will help guide Skyryse’s work in supporting military pilots and operators.

"Skyryse is delivering technology that directly enhances the safety and effectiveness of our warfighters," said Lt. Gen. Ross Coffman (Ret.). "By reducing cognitive load and simplifying flight operations, SkyOS™ allows pilots to keep their attention where it belongs—on the mission. This kind of innovation is exactly what our military needs to stay ahead in an increasingly complex operational environment."

With Lt. Gen. Coffman’s guidance, Skyryse is poised to accelerate its mission of making aviation safer and more accessible across both civilian and military applications.
