The Skyryse team completed its first AirVenture exhibition last week, marking the company’s in-person, public debut of Skyryse One and SkyOS. Over 600,000 attendees made it to Oshkosh, WI this year to participate in what is the world's largest gathering of general aviation enthusiasts. People traveled from over 90 countries and many were able to see the latest and greatest in general aviation — our team was excited to show them SkyOS and our Skyryse One helicopter up-close.

In addition to showing attendees a static display of Skyryse One, several of our company pilots were able to offer hands-on demonstrations of SkyOS in our conforming simulator. All told, during the week of AirVenture, our team offered over 100 demos to both pilots and non-pilots—aviation enthusiasts of all backgrounds.

In the reaction video above, we highlight the experience of flying the conforming Skyryse One simulator. This was by far the most hands-on, public display of Skyryse technology in our company's history. As part of this experience, people were able to experience a number of SkyOS features and phases of flight in the simulator, including:

  • Automated autorotations
  • Auto setdown and takeoff
  • Traffic pattern work
  • Pedal turns using a single control stick, no anti-torque pedals
  • Dynamic envelope protection and VRS (Vortex Ring State) prevention

If you're interested in learning more as to how SkyOS revolutionizes flying, you can watch the 7-minute video above or enjoy some of the best moments from the show in the photos below.
