Skyryse Named as Finalist for Collier Trophy, Aviation's Most Prestigious Award

Skyryse®, the creator of SkyOS™, the world's first universal operating system for flight, has been named a finalist for the Collier Trophy, the most prestigious award in aerospace. Presented annually by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA), the Collier Trophy recognizes the greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics in America, with a focus on improving the performance, efficiency, and safety of air or space vehicles.
Skyryse joins an elite group of finalists competing for an award that has celebrated pioneering advancements in aviation and spaceflight since 1911, with past recipients including Orville Wright, Apollo 11, the Boeing 747, and the International Space Station.
“This recognition as a finalist for the Collier Trophy underscores the profound impact of SkyOS’s ability to make aviation simpler, safer and more accessible,” said Dr. Mark Groden, CEO of Skyryse. “We are incredibly grateful to the NAA for being considered one of the most significant aerospace achievements of the year.”
The winner will be honored on June 12th at the annual Collier Dinner, with the Collier Trophy on permanent display at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
